Novus’ many years of specialized design experience with HVAC systems includes work in climates from Canada’s cold, dry arctic, to the humid tropics of Papua New Guinea. We are experienced in compressed air, fuel, boiler, and fire protection systems, with an excellent understanding of Canadian and US codes and standards, including building, fire, and gas codes.

We are adept in all aspects of building services systems, including steam, glycol, chilled water, gas-fired, oil-fired, direct- fired, split systems, compressed gases, plumbing, drainage, fume exhaust, dust collection, DDC controls and fire protection/standpipes and sprinklers, as well as special requirements necessary in hazardous areas. We are also expert in coal handling, steam and hot water boiler plants, heat exchange, heat recovery, and indoor air quality.

The Novus piping department brings many years of experience in the design and installation of a variety of piping systems from mining slurry application to oil and gas installation. Projects in both Arctic conditions and warm weather climates provide Novus with a wealth of process piping design experience.
